My Journey as an Entrepreneur

Entrepreneurship has been in my blood from a young age. Growing up in Arniston, I was surrounded by business. My late mother was a successful entrepreneur who not only owned a thriving business but also a boat that created jobs and income for families in our community. Watching her work, I became fascinated by the idea of business and quickly found myself drawn to it.

I started young, working as a cashier in my mother’s business while still in elementary school. Soon, I was experimenting with my own ventures—selling popcorn to my classmates, then expanding into freshly baked ginger and coconut cookies. My entrepreneurial spirit continued to grow, and I came up with creative ways to earn income, like organizing cake raffles and sourcing mandarins from local farmers to sell.

By high school, I had built a small business selling home essentials and home décor to my community.

I also took advantage of seasonal opportunities, like selling barbecue sausages during rugby weekends. These experiences reinforced my love for business and taught me the importance of hard work, creativity, and providing value to others.

Now, as a business owner in Canada, I’ve turned my passion for home décor and interior design into a full-time venture. Life can be hectic, and I realized that many people love decorating their homes but struggle to find the time to shop. That’s why I created an online store—to offer beautiful, high-quality home décor that can be conveniently purchased from anywhere, with shipping and delivery straight to your door.

Beyond business, I believe in giving back. Supporting local communities and helping sustain our economy is important to me. I’m excited for this journey and look forward to your support as I continue to bring stylish and accessible home décor to homes everywhere.

Thank you for being part of my story!
